It’s oddly comforting to read the following line from DeWitt Clinton’s On Great Engineers, Part 3, from 2005:
Even in today’s recovering tech economy, every open engineering position at a healthy company will generate hundreds, even thousands, of emailed résumés.
From 2005! That’s 2009 – 2005 = 4 years ago!
Good to be reminded, I guess, that sometimes our memories are short and this has all happened before. And, somehow, we’re all still here.
I have compiled vast mountains of evidence that the year is not 2008—nearly 2009—as our calendars would have us believe, but much closer to a date in 1988.
I sense a vast conspiracy at work here. I must remain vigilant to discover the almost certain illuminati ties to the skewing of our calendar.

Tim Gunn makes it work, “Holla’s at ya boy,” and is so sad to see you go.

I really have nothing bad to say about Tim Gunn. Ever. He is, quite possibly, the calmest, least egotistical, least judgmental, yet most confident personality on the TV.
Also, he could totally take the What Not to Wear team in a back-alley knife fight. Word.
